(Message 151)
Posted 8 Mar 2010 by frankhagen Post: you either accomodtate and get your project up and running by filling in the gaps or... then you should at least have granted credit for those WU's which were completed by win32 hosts. i'm most likely not the only one who got struck.. |

(Message 149)
Posted 7 Mar 2010 by frankhagen Post: Well, it is not really encouraging, I know. But I guess you understand that this complaint would have to be addressed to the BOINC development team complaints about bugs in BOINC? you must be some real freshman in BOINCworld - those rocket-scientists do not produce bugs - everything happening is a feature! you either accomodtate and get your project up and running by filling in the gaps or go down. |

Application priorities and server responsiveness
(Message 133)
Posted 23 Feb 2010 by frankhagen Post: if found the windows-graphics app (~15 MB)on a linux host - does it make any sense to waste that bandwidth? ahh - didn't look inside - but the filename did not suggest something like that. They are only in the application and distributed once, NOT on every wu. of course not - if everything is working, it's one transfer per host. |

Posted 10 Jan 2010 by frankhagen Post: We changed HR class for cmsearch to coarse grain to see if there are any problems with validating results. not much to see without at least some things to crunch..;) |
