RNA World is now available in the Boinc translation system (BTS). The project can now be translated to any language. Currently there are only 4 languages available. If you want to translate to an additional language, just give me a note and I add the template.

P.S. as part of Boinc.italy team, recently translated BOINC Manager, Boinc web site and SETI web site

Itlian is added to the translation system. Somebody requested it already and Rom Walton added it.

It doesn't seem to be working very well. The Server Status page comes up in German most of the time, from the English home page.

Seems to be a bug in the Boinc server side, which caches the page always in the language which was used on cache update.

Hmm, it's strange. Today morning the Server status page was in English, but now it is in German. My selected language is Russian.
Also, not all translated strings (in BTS) for the main page are translated, some of them are still in English.

I do not update translations automatic. Does SETI this do?
But now I imported russion translation. There is now more in russian.

I don't know about S@H but I thought, that RNA World did it automatically because when I finished translation and committed changes in BTS, I saw my translation for this text from the main page:

                  About RNA World (beta)
RNA World (beta) is a distributed supercomputer that uses
Internet-connected computers to advance RNA-related research.
You can participate by downloading and running a free program on your computer.

                  Thank you, all looks good.

Same strings are fuzzy because I can't verify all of them. For example, I can't check Profile page because I can't create profile because my RAC < 100 :)

BTW, same of the languages in the Language Selection page named as English, eg.:
                  es | English (English)
                  fr | English (English)

Wait a minute! How do you artificially increase someones RAC? Isn't that screwing with the stats?

                          The credits are not touched.
Only the rac is set temporary to a value which allows profile creation to check the proper translations. The rac will go down automatic if no wus are crunched.
The credit stats are not impacted.

Nikolay did a fast and beautiful job to translate everything to Russian. And he needs the chance to verify it.

The incorrect RAC is exported in the stats. The bad value is now on record at the external stats sites.

Please remember (it is clearly stated) that this is still a Beta project where some things might not work as on a production system and where some things needs small tweaking.

Yes, and there are plenty of other BOINC projects who have been running for years that still hide behind or use "beta" as an excuse for everything that goes wrong.

Seems to be a wrong character encoding. But I do not know how to set / change it.
